Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our peptides, supplies, storage, shipping and returns.

General

What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that occur naturally within the body. Different peptides are researched for their potential roles in cellular communication, tissue repair, metabolic function, and overall wellness.

Are your products authentic?

Yes. We source high-quality research peptides that undergo purity testing before being supplied.

What is bacteriostatic water?

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which helps prevent bacterial growth after opening. It is commonly used for reconstituting lyophilised peptides.

What does “lyophilised” mean?

Lyophilised simply means freeze-dried. This process helps preserve peptide stability until it is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water.

How should I store my peptides?

Before reconstitution:

  • Store in the freezer (recommended) or refrigerator.
  • Protect from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

After reconstitution:

  • Refrigerate between 2–8°C.
  • Do not freeze after mixing.
  • Avoid repeated temperature changes.

How long do peptides last after mixing?

For best quality, use within approximately 28–30 days after reconstitution when refrigerated correctly.

Do you offer overnight shipping?

Yes.

Orders placed before the daily cut-off are dispatched quickly, with overnight shipping available throughout most of New Zealand.

Are these products for human consumption?

No.

All products are sold strictly for research purposes only.

Retatrutide

What is Retatrutide?

Retatrutide is a next-generation tri-agonist peptide currently being researched for its effects on metabolic health and body composition.

What receptors does Retatrutide target?

Retatrutide acts on:

  • GLP-1 receptors
  • GIP receptors
  • Glucagon receptors

Why is Retatrutide different?

Unlike traditional GLP-1 agonists, Retatrutide activates three metabolic pathways simultaneously, making it one of the most researched peptides in metabolic science.

How is Retatrutide supplied?

Retatrutide is supplied as a freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder that requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water before research use.

What BAC water should I use?

Most researchers choose:

  • 10 mg vial → 2 mL BAC water
  • 20 mg vial → 2 mL BAC water

This creates a higher concentration while keeping injection volumes smaller.

How should Retatrutide be stored?

Before mixing: Store frozen.

After mixing: Refrigerate at 2–8°C.

Use within approximately 28 days.

What is Retatrutide commonly researched for?

Current research is investigating:

  • Appetite regulation
  • Metabolic health
  • Weight management
  • Body composition
  • Energy expenditure

GHK-Cu

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide found in human plasma. It has been widely researched for tissue regeneration and skin biology.

Why is copper important?

Copper plays an important role in collagen production, wound healing and antioxidant enzyme activity.

What is GHK-Cu commonly researched for?

Research includes:

  • Skin rejuvenation
  • Collagen production
  • Elasticity
  • Hair health
  • Scar appearance
  • Tissue repair

How is GHK-Cu supplied?

GHK-Cu is supplied as a freeze-dried powder requiring reconstitution with bacteriostatic water.

What BAC water should I use?

A common reconstitution is:

  • 50 mg vial + 5 mL BAC water

This provides a concentration of 10 mg/mL.

How should GHK-Cu be stored?

Before reconstitution: Store frozen.

After reconstitution: Store refrigerated between 2–8°C.

Avoid freezing after mixing.

Does GHK-Cu require protection from light?

Yes.

For best stability, keep the vial protected from direct light.

BAC Water

What is BAC Water?

BAC Water is sterile water containing benzyl alcohol used to safely reconstitute peptides.

Can I use sterile water instead?

Sterile water contains no preservative and generally has a much shorter shelf life once opened.

BAC water is preferred because it contains benzyl alcohol.

How long does BAC Water last?

Once opened, most manufacturers recommend using it within 28 days while refrigerated.

Can BAC Water be frozen?

No.

Store refrigerated after opening.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

New Zealand-wide.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive overnight, although rural delivery may take an additional day.

Is shipping discreet?

Yes.

Orders are packaged discreetly with no indication of contents.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes.

Tracking information is emailed once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

Can I return my order?

Due to the nature of research products, returns cannot be accepted once dispatched unless the product arrives damaged or incorrect.

What happens if my parcel is damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue.
